5 Hour Energy…

In Uncategorized on January 13, 2009 at 6:53 am

I choose 5 Hour Energy for my food or drink of importance.  With teenagers and college students relying more and more on energy drinks such as Rockstar and Monster, it appears 5 Hour Energy is a better alternative.  Excessive caffeine and large amounts of sugars make energy drinks a health hazard.  Although, I would not argue that 5 Hour Energy is a healthy beverage, it seems as if it is a safer alternative to highly caffeinated energy boosters.  5 Hour Energy contains no sugar and has caffeine levels comparable to the average cup of coffee.  A 16 oz. Rockstar contains 240 milligrams of caffeine and 54 grams of sugar.  5 Hour Energy contains 80 milligrams of caffeine and no sugar.
