Liberal media coverage of inauguration…

In Uncategorized on January 20, 2009 at 7:45 pm

The liberal blogs on the Internet are heavily in favor of the presidential change.    On Americablog.com, there are a series of images of president Bush’s departure in a helicopter, signifying the end of his eight years.  Of all the inauguration pictures, it was funny how Bush’s helicopter photos were shown with great importance.  There were headlines such as, “Let the joyous news be spread, the wicked old witch is dead.”  On Thinkprogress.org, a liberal writer, Faiz Shakir, criticises conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh.  Limbaugh recently said he hopes Obama fails as president.   “I disagree fervently with the people on our [Republican] side of the aisle who have caved and who say, ‘Well, I hope he succeeds,” said Limbaugh.  This blog is intended to show how narrow-minded some people are about their politics, and in this example–the conservative mind.

The overall readership of the liberal blogs I believe is predominately younger people (20-30 years old).  The audience is a younger crowd, and a younger generation of people are reporting on these liberal blogs.
