Source Analysis:
The USA Today is a nationally recognized newspaper.  It has the widest circulation of any newspaper in the United States, and it is distributed in all 50 states.

Usefulness:
This is useful because the Peter Lawson may not be an expert on immigration.  He represents a single opinion of an “average ” U.S. citizen.  This is important to recognize because it is not always about what the experts think. Lawson thinks that the root of the problem is in the Mexican economy and government.
